Tod’s launched Tod’s Portraits in the wonderful and unique setting of the Pinacoteca di Brera recently. Diego and Andrea Della Valle welcome to the cocktail: Stefano Tonchi, Giulia e Carlo Puri Negri, Micol Sabbadini, Nino e Francesca Tronchetti Provera, Nathalie Dompe, Valentina Scanbia, Virginia Orsi, Luisa Beccaria, Lucilla Bonaccorsi, Pupi Solari. Some of the men of the book ( Alberto Alemagna, Emanuele Cito Filomarino, Gaddo della Gherardesca, Giovanni Fastel, Guglielmo Miani, Nicolo Minardi, Tazio Puri Negri).
The Italian Portraits book celebrates, through a series of portraits of elegant Italian Men, the ability of combining good taste and ethic, modernity and tradition, beauty and competence. A style that is perfectly represented by these personalities and has its origins in Made in Italy and in the value of “hand made” and craftsmanship : a choice of unostentatious elegance and respect for the past and one’s roots. These timeless values are part of a lifestyle and culture which, while modern and cosmopolitan, is also strongly engrained in our Country and reveals, today than ever before, its appeal and significance.
Tod’s Italian Portraits, available in the best bookstores starting from September 2012.
