Alexander Terekhov FW2012 collection is inspired by Grace Kelly. Oscar-winning Hollywood star and one of the most beautiful women of the 20^th Century, she was the muse and best friend of Alfred Hitchcock and wife of prince Rainier III of Monaco. Alexander Terekhov was fascinated by Grace’s aristocratic style and elegancy. Associations with Monegasque princess became the classic A-silhouettes, precious colours and exquisite lace with which the designer is working for the first time. Alexander Terekhov (Atelier Moscow) brand was established by leading Russian designer Alexander Terekhov in 2004 and has joined Rusmoda Company in 2010, well known for his aesthetic of luxe minimalism and focus on a precision cut using expensive fabrics.

 

The 30-year-old Russian designer, who was recognized by Style.com as, ''Ten Most Talented to Watch'' for his Spring/Summer 2007 Collection. Born in a small town in Russia, Terekhov created his first dress at age 10 for his mother. After graduating from the Moscow Institute of Fashion & Design, Terekhov began training immediately in Pariswith legendary Fashion House Yves Saint Laurent. Terekhov was honored in 2006 as one of the country's top 10 designers in '' International Textile''. He was also selected as one of ten emerging designers by '' UPS Delivering Fashion's Future'' at Olympus Fashion Week.
