Material girl back on the dance floor with more explicit content, naughtiness and parental advisory to no surprises. Despite many flattery compliments from <Billboard>, <Rolling Stone>, <USA Today> and others, the Queen of Pop nearly 30 years after first hitting the Billboard Charts in late 1982 is still showing the pop world how it’s done…’MDNA’ – her 12th studio album – is a collection of thoroughly pumping pop tunes, some of which are slices of sheer brilliance. MDNA recorded in New York and LA, reunites Madonna with former collaborator William Orbit (“Ray of Light”) who co wrote and co produced several cuts on the new album. Other co producers include Martin Solveig, The Demolition Crew, Marco “Benny” Benassi and Alessandro “Alle” Benassi, Hardy“Indiigo” Muanza, Michael Malih and Madonna.
MDNA is neither triumph nor disaster, it is too generic and the business as usual although the 53 years old mom keep emphasizing repeatedly "Girls, they just wanna have some fun." She may have lost the art of surprise and less stentorian tracks that sparkle but <Girl Gone Wild>, <Turn Up The Radio> at least still is one of the best choice for a 5 minutes aerobic workout on the dance floor. Has she outshine herself once again? We reserve the benefit of doubts to other MDNA fans.
