Brancott Estate Letter Series ‘B’ 2011, the premium Sauvignon Blanc from Brancott Estate wines, the original Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, has achieved international recognition from the world’s exclusive Sauvignon Blanc wine show, Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2012 held at the Bordeaux & Bordeaux Supérieur growers’organisation in Bordeaux, France, on March 16th and 17th, 2012. It was awarded a gold medal and Brancott Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011 was awarded a silver medal. “To be awarded a gold medal against examples of the best Sauvignon Blanc wines in the world is a true testament to the position we have secured on the international stage for our premium Letter Series ‘B’ Sauvignon Blanc. New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is renowned for its aromatic expression, but we have pushed this further to develop the texture and complexity of Letter Series ‘B’” says Patrick Materman, Chief Winemaker for Brancott Estate wines.
