《PRADA Opens @ Short Hills New Jersey》

Prada opens a new store in the United States, in Short Hills, New Jersey, inside “The Mall”, the city's luxury shopping destination. The store, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, covers an area of about 700 square metres on a single level and it carries the Prada women's and men's ready-to-wear, bags, accessories and footwear collections.

The elegant and sophisticated storefront is covered in black marble and it is characterised by the order of the entrance, windows and light box, framed in polished steel profiles. The inside is subdivided in four polygonal rooms, defined by the elements that mark Prada's brand identity worldwide, such as walls covered in green cloth and black and white chequered marble floor at the entrance, alternating with beige carpet.

 

 

The women's collections area is especially elegant thanks to its slightly smoky mirrors, to the soft hues of saffiano leather in cera colour, and to the precious polished steel and crystal display counters. The men's collections are displayed in an environment covered in rosewood and furnished with castorino-coloured velvet sofas and black saffiano, and crystal counters.
