In the beautiful setting of the Cinema Barberini, Tod’s hosted a special event to present the restoration of the film “Sciuscià” by Vittorio De Sica. Tod’s support to the world of art and culture, with important projects as the renovation of the Coliseum and the permanent membership of the Teatro alla Scala’s Foundation, is now strengthened with the restoration of the film Sciuscià. This film, produced in 1946, is a masterpiece of the international cinema’s history and of neo-realism. Awarded with the Oscar in 1947, it is the result of the genius of Vittorio De Sica and a symbol of the Italian culture’s creativity and power.
Tod's strongly believes in the support of Italian culture and art and therefore often undertakes this kind of projects. There are masterpieces such as the movie Sciuscià (Shoeshine), which are part of the heritage and tradition we have to protect and to pass on to the young generations transmitting the fundamental values at the base of the strength of the country. Once again, well done TOD'S. Bravo!!!
