The Annual Fabulous Food 1Malaysia Gala Dinner is coming!
The sumptuous Malaysia food is always one of the highlights for travelling coming to the country to discover the sight and sound of its very own multi-cultural charm. This time, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (Hong Kong Office) teamed up with local travel agents in promoting the Fabulous Food 1Malaysia Gala Dinner Package Tours. The Gala Dinners provide dozens of traditional food including Malaysian food, Nyonya, Chinese and Indian food.
80 guests from Hong Kong will be served at each dinner. The theme of gala dinner in Malacca is “Hawker Food" with a mix of international touch and element as Melaka has been governed by different countries and as well as the legendary General from China ~ Zheng He was one of the many who brought in the different cultural exchange during his visit hundred years ago. One of the few delicacies are: Malaysian style Hainan chicken rice ball, Nyonya (Mix of Malaysian and Chinese food), Indian food such as Roti Canai and Teh Tarik. Not forgetting also the mouth watering traditional Malaysian food: satay, Nasi Lemak and Laksa and etc. While in Port Dickson, the theme of gala dinner is “Seafood Deluxe”. Fresh seafood from daily catch like prawns, crabs, fish and other Malaysian seafood is best done the BBQ way. The tour is specially arranged for Hong Kong travellers and the event will be held at Renaissance Hotel Melaka and Thistle Hotel Port Dickson, on 29 Oct & 19 Nov, 2011.
