Angelababy teamed up with her fellow film director Tony Chan open a French theme Japanese fusion cafe in Langham Place, Mongkok named after Angelababy, Baby Cafe recently. Work buddies turned close friends, both Angelababy and Chan love their food, with their creativity's of dining out while they travel on board, both foodies decided to make something for their very own and to share with their fellow food epicures and fans.
The cafe fit out is rather clean and chic, the black and white reflects the cozy dining mood yet playful with a hint of sophistication. The wall of "frame" displayed most of Angelbaby's photo stills shot by Wing Shya, some are digital exhibits which will be changed occasionally to complete the archives.
The food is rather contemplated, there are quite a few of effort were put into consideration into the menu planning to wow their fans. The presentation is rather neat and inviting and comes with a generous serving portion. Some of the signature dishes with Baby's recommendation are the Japanese Scrambled Eggs with Black Truffle, Grilled French Spring Chicken in Red Wine Sauce. Try out the Baby Tasting Platter that comes with Japanese Eggs with Truffle/Seared Salmon Fillet Tartare/Spaghetti in Herb Sauce, not forgetting the Homemade Japanese Pomelo Sherbet with Orange Cake to end your meal. With an extremely affordable price against the food value, it is the perfect ultimate french dining experience which won't burn a hold in your pocket.
