Revolution movies had been made too many times and most of them were "overly produced" and lost the fact of the actual genuinity. No matter how hard they tried, from the research of history and trying to bring back the memory of the entire lost history to present, it is still losing the essence of it, in order words, wasted so much of money and resource but with the least return. This film has no exception and poorly executed especially with Jackie Chan's acting and voice overed of the role that he played was entirely disguise. There wasn't much excitements in his 1911's revolution and the film had prolonged and tried so hard to make it more epical, but only with huge disappointment and dull.
