《Longines @ Albert Einstein》

In conjunction with the Albert Einstein exhibition, a once private owned Longines pocket watch by Einstein which was made on the 6th September 1943 in LONGINES Saint-Imier factory is part of the highlights in the exhibition. It was then sold to one of the Swiss Jewelry stores-Stahel, Einstien passed on this pocket watch to his son Hans Albert and later his wife Elizabeth Einstein presented it to a Swiss Diplomat Henry E. Bovay for his gratitute and support towards the commenmoration of the late Albert Einstein. Since then, Bovay decided to donate this special piece to the Historisches Musuem Bern ans share the precious & glorious history to the public. In this present day, this pocket watch is still in good condition. Exhibitions ends 31st August 2011.
